In this talk I will outline the project: goals, current concerns and some technical, solutions used so far. The talk will also describe some of the challenges involved: audience perception, artistic impact, limits of delay times. Finally, there will be a question and answer session. |

This talk takes a close look at the "mantra", the formula that yields up the wealth of material making up the 70 minute piece: from rhythm, motion, pitch forms, structure, time transformations to timbre composition, in which STOCKHAUSEN initated the use of the ring modulater; one of the first use of live electronics in the concert hall. |
